The Minister of Sports arrives at the stadium "974” in Doha to support Al-Ahly against Mexican Pachuca
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, recently arrived at the “974” Stadium. In Doha to support Al-Ahly Club in its match against Pachuca of Mexico, and was received by His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Qatari Minister of Sports and Youth, in the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador to Qatar, Ambassador Amr El-Sherbiny.
The Minister of Sports also met with the President of the International Federation of Association Football, Gianni Infantino, the President of the Egyptian Football Association, Engineer Hani Abu Rida, and Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president. Al-Ahly.
Stadium 974 in Doha will host the match between Al-Ahly, the holder of the African Champions League, and Pachuca of Mexico, the holder of the CONCACAF and North American Champions League titles. This match will be held under the slogan “Challenge Cup”. It will qualify for the Intercontinental Cup final against Spanish Real Madrid.
