El-Gamaty: Lake Nozha in Alexandria has been restarted with support from the International Rowing Federation
Officials of the Egyptian Rowing Federation, headed by Major General Sherif El Gomati, received the approval of the International Federation of Rowing to support the process of restarting Nozha Lake in Alexandria, after it stopped for a period of 7 full years.
Work is scheduled to begin to restart the lake. Nozha during the coming period, with the full support of the International Federation of the Game, in order to host training for the national teams and Alexandria clubs, as well as various tournaments.
For his part, Major General Sherif El Gomati said that Nozha Lake was one It is one of the important training stadiums for the national teams and Alexandria clubs, and restarting it again is a success, especially since all costs will be borne by the International Federation.
Al-Gamaty said that the Egyptian Federation is proceeding according to a development plan drawn up by the Board of Directors in order to restore Egyptian rowing has won African and international podiums, and that exploiting all capabilities, including Nozha Lake, is necessary in order to provide the appropriate climate for national teams and clubs.
