"Gulf educational" : Artificial intelligence is a unique opportunity to develop methods for teaching the Arabic language
Cairo, December 19 / WAM / The Educational Center for the Arabic Language for the Gulf States stressed the importance of balancing between technological progress and preserving the ancient cultural heritage of the Arabic language, stressing that artificial intelligence represents a unique opportunity to develop the means of teaching the Arabic language and make it more accessible and attractive to learners around the world.
This came in a speech delivered by Dr. Issa Saleh Al-Hammadi, Director of the Center, at the celebration organized by the League of Arab States at its headquarters in Cairo on the occasion of International Arabic Language Day, which falls on December 18 of each year.
Dr. Al-Hammadi referred to the slogan of this year’s celebration, “The Arabic language and artificial intelligence… promoting innovation while preserving cultural heritage,” stressing the vital role that the center plays in spreading and promoting the Arabic language in the Arabian Gulf region, and its continuing efforts in developing curricula for teaching the Arabic language and using it. Modern technology to make it easier to learn.
In his speech, Al-Hammadi reviewed the efforts of the Educational Center for the Arabic Language in the field of developing teaching of the Arabic language to speakers of other languages.
The celebration included many events and activities that highlighted the importance of the Arabic language in enhancing cultural and civilizational identity, and its great role in the fields of creativity and innovation.
The participation of the Educational Center for the Arabic Language for the Gulf States in the celebration comes within the framework of its commitment to its pioneering role in spreading the Arabic language and promoting cultural and knowledge exchange between Arab countries, which contributes to preserving the linguistic and cultural heritage of the Arab nation.
