The Foundation indicated – in a statement today on the occasion of International Human Solidarity Day – the importance of adopting an integrated approach based on raising awareness among members of society and encouraging humanitarian and charitable initiatives to support The groups most cared for and the victims of wars and conflicts, noting the importance of bringing humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip to alleviate the suffering they have been experiencing since the Israeli aggression on Sector.
Heba Rashed – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mersal Foundation – said that the Foundation opens its doors to all patients, regardless of the degree of severity of their condition or needs. Rashed explained that the medical services provided have increased over the years. The Foundation stated that it provides support to the Palestinian brothers residing in Egypt as part of its humanitarian role to alleviate the suffering they are experiencing after the Israeli aggression. On the Gaza Strip, noting that the number of Palestinian cases that were assisted socially and medically during the last period was more than 2,500 Palestinian citizens and families.

She pointed out that this project – whose funding sources come entirely through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees – aims to improve refugees’ access to various basic medical services, stressing the importance of strengthening the spirit of solidarity so that all institutions can continue Its humanitarian role.
