The Education and Training Evaluation Commission issued the first version of the National Register of School Excellence, which clarifies the Commission’s efforts towards improving public, private and international public education schools through the “National Program for School Evaluation, Classification and Accreditation.”
This program was based on the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Human Capacity Development Programme, and in accordance with the Authority’s strategy to “build a high-impact Saudi model for quality in education and training that is a world leader and contributes to achieving national development and economic growth.”
In its school evaluation program, the Authority was keen to enhance the principles of governance, transparency, and positive competitiveness leading to the sustainability of excellence and the development of school performance, and to explore opportunities for improvement. To ensure the quality of public education and improve its outcomes.

National Forum for School Excellence

The Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, organized the National Forum for School Excellence, which was held in mid-October in the presence of the Minister of Education and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, and in the presence of many officials in the public and private sectors, during which the distinguished schools representing the first batch of “292” were honored. » A school from different administrative regions in the Kingdom.
The National Register of School Excellence includes the Authority’s vision and efforts to transform towards quality, and the most prominent pillars and directions in the National Program for School Evaluation, Classification and Accreditation, which leads to sustaining excellence, developing school performance, raising the quality of public education and improving its outcomes.

Worth noting; The Education and Training Evaluation Commission launched the school evaluation program at the beginning of the last academic year 2023-2024, and qualified independent evaluation specialists with experience and competence for it. They visit the school and evaluate its school environment and teaching and learning processes, interview its administration and teachers, and monitor the views of stakeholders and educational achievement data. of students and teachers’ performance, and issuing the school evaluation report for the school in accordance with its approved school evaluation standards, which number “10” standards distributed over “4” areas, namely: “school administration and leadership, and education.” learning, learning outcomes, and school environment” after reviewing and approving it.
Through evaluation, measurement and accreditation programs for education and training programs and institutions, the Authority seeks to contribute to improving the quality of performance of educational and training institutions and their competitive ability based on the quality of inputs and processes.
