Major General Rashid Al Falasi, Director of the General Administration of Transport and Rescue, the organizing body for the Rescue Heroes Challenge, expressed his happiness at the success of the Challenge competitions in its second edition among school students over the age of 13 years, stressing that the performance of the participants exceeded expectations in terms of their physical abilities and sports skills in implementing and taking on the challenges. Which contributed to achieving the desired goals of the challenge, which include enhancing fitness and physical abilities among the participants, and enhancing their security awareness of safety and rescue, in addition to supporting the strategic directions of Dubai Police. For his part, Colonel Khaled Al Hammadi, Director of the Search and Rescue Department, explained that the “Rescue Heroes Challenge” involved 50 students participating in 4 competitions in the training city, which included wearing landing gear and the challenge of tying five types of knots, in addition to the challenge of running (climbing containers) and pulling ropes. , sending the puppet through the rope, the lowering process, lifting heavy objects using balloons, crossing the narrow maze and pulling the car using the pulley system.
