المملكة: Jeddah.. Buildings on the verge of collapse in Al-Farouq neighborhood receive notifications
Owners of buildings at risk of collapse in the Al-Farouq neighborhood within the scope of the university municipality received notices from the Jeddah Governorate Municipality, today, Sunday, in cooperation with the concerned authorities, in implementing the necessary regulatory procedures.
The secretariat explained that it had begun to inventory the buildings that are at risk of collapse in the neighborhood and to place notices calling on their owners to urgently visit the secretariat to complete the necessary regulatory procedures.
She pointed out that these efforts come within an ongoing plan that includes monitoring the conditions of buildings at risk of collapse in other neighborhoods in the city, to reduce the risks that these buildings may pose to residents and surrounding areas, while taking all necessary preventive measures to ensure public safety.
Buildings that are about to collapse
The Secretariat called on the owners of the included buildings to quickly review its headquarters to complete the required procedures, stressing the need to review the owner or his representative under a legitimate power of attorney, and bring the following documents:
- National identity.
- Ownership documents.
- Building permit
This comes as part of a campaign implemented by the General Administration of Emergency and Crisis to address the conditions of buildings that are at risk of collapsing, and the secretariat called on everyone to cooperate to speed up procedures in order to preserve public safety and avoid any damage that may result from delaying treatment.
