المملكة: By planting 300 sites… Taif Municipality enhances efforts to improve the urban landscape

The Taif Governorate Municipality, through its agricultural teams, carried out the planting of annual flower seedlings in more than 300 locations throughout the city.
The sites included public roads, squares, parks, regulatory corridors, entrances and exits, as part of the secretariat’s efforts to improve the urban landscape and enhance environmental sustainability, in line with the Humanization of Cities initiative.

Enhance vegetation cover

The works included replacing the soil, extending modern irrigation networks, and using soil covers as part of an integrated plan to enhance the green belt and diversify the vegetation cover.
These efforts come to achieve the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative, in coordination with partners to achieve a sustainable environment.

“Bahja” project

The Municipality continues to implement the “Bahja” project to transform unused spaces into active urban areas, with the development of parks and public facilities, which contributes to enhancing the quality of life and well-being of residents, in support of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to improve the living environment and develop cities.

Taif Municipality affirms its constant endeavor to increase the green area and increase the per capita share of green areas, while working to improve the urban landscape and create an attractive environment for residents and visitors that reflects a sustainable and integrated vision.
