Organizing the administrative structure and the local agenda are the most prominent decisions of the Table Tennis Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Table Tennis Federation, headed by Major General Ashraf Helmy, continued its series of meetings in order to develop the road map and organize the administrative work of the federation, while setting the  schedule of local tournaments and international participation for the current season.

The meeting was held at the Federation’s headquarters in the Sports Federations Complex in Nasr City, and witnessed the presence of Counselor Khaled Al-Hafny, Vice President, and Mahmoud Abaza, Treasurer, in addition to members Amr Fahmy, Ashraf Abdel Fattah, Walid Mahmoud and Hebat Allah Hamed.

 

The most important decisions of the Council were as follows:

 

– The Council decided to appoint Mr. Mamdouh Mohamed Ismail as Acting Financial Director of the Federation for a period of three months starting from January 1, 2025 and ending on March 31, 2025. Until the procedures are completed.

– The Council decided to appoint Mr. Hisham Muhammad Abu Hashish as Acting Executive Director of the Federation for a period of three months starting from January 1, 2025 and ending on 3/31/2025 until the procedures are completed.

– Addressing the administrative authority with the financial position of the federation.

– Assigning Dr. Alaa Musharraf to prepare and submit proposals in conjunction with Mr. Mahmoud Abaza, Treasurer, to set the controls for participation in international tournaments for players. And female and male players, both male and female, in the best possible way.

– Approval to maintain the competitions, referees, and league committees until further notice.

– Approval to hold the Second Republic Championship for male and female juniors under 11 and 13 years of age during the period. From February 2 to February 5, 2025 at the Police Sports Federation Hall in Cairo.

– Formation of the delegation participating in the African Cup competitions. For men’s and women’s singles, scheduled for Tunisia next February, as follows: “Amr Fahmy”, head of the mission, Ashraf Sobhi, “men’s coach”, Hisham Ismail, women’s coach”, along with the duo Omar Asr and Mohamed El-Beili for the men’s competitions, and the trio Dina Musharraf, Hana Gouda, and Maryam Al-Hudaibi. For women’s competitions.

– Approval of the participation of “Omar Asr, Muhammad Al-Baili and Youssef Abdel Aziz” And Mahmoud Helmy" In addition to the quintet, “Dina Musharraf, Hana Jouda, Yousra Helmy, Maryam Al-Hudaibi, and Hend Fathi.” In the Singapore Smash international competitions at their own expense, without the federation bearing any financial burdens, as well as the participation of coach/Hisham Ismail, accompanying Hana Gouda at her own expense.

– Approval of the participation of Dina Musharraf, Hana Gouda, Mahmoud Helmy, and Yousra Helmy in the Qatar competitions. International 2025, with the travel of coach Hisham Ismail, at their own expense and without the federation bearing any financial burdens now or in the future.

– Approval of the players’ participation. – Referring the memorandum of objection submitted by the Obour and Ismaili clubs to the legal advisor of the Federation to prepare a memorandum of opinion in light of the objection submitted by them, in light of the player affairs regulations and the league rules for the 2024/2025 sports season for men’s teams and the documents that It was presented to the Council.

– Approval to hold international studies for the second level during the second half of January 2025 and international studies for the first level during the month of February. 2025.
