The Luxor African Film Festival hosts a group of Egyptian and African stars in its 14th session

 A few days separate us from the launch of the activities of the fourteenth session of the Luxor African Film Festival, “Artist Nour El Sherif’s Session,” and the location of the opening ceremony is set at the Luxor Temple in the bosom of the great Egyptian monuments that carry to us thought, culture, science, and the arts. 

 

The administration of the Luxor African Film Festival stated in a statement today, Thursday, that the festival is scheduled to host this year, a group of stars. African and Egyptian, pointing out that the artist Khaled El Nabawy will be honored, and a number of stars will bear witness to his honor, including Mahmoud Hemida, the honorary president of the festival, the star Mohy Ismail, the young artist Nour El Nabawy, and the artists Yousra, Laila Elwi, Hala Sedqi, Sheri Adel, and Dalia Mostafa, in addition to the star Ahmed. Magdy and screenwriter Tamer Habib, writer and screenwriter Ahmed Murad, and director Magdy Ahmed Ali, who is honored by the festival. For his generosity and cinematic career, and director Amir Ramses and director of photography Mohamed Shafiq. The festival stars: Ahmed Dawoud, Menna Shalaby, Ahmed Khaled Saleh and Hanadi Muhanna, and director Heba. Yousry.

 

The festival also hosts Egyptian film makers “for the first time” who are also participating in the festival’s competitions, and whose stars include the artist Tara Emad, Omar El-Shenawy, the artist Rania Mansour, the artist Phaedra and the star. Aida Riad, and director John Ikram.

 

As for African stars, their participation varies. Among the honorees, jury committees and filmmakers, including the Tunisian-Italian artist Ahmed Al-Hafian, who is honored by the festival for his international career, the Senegalese director Moussa Sana Absa, the Ghanaian star Akosua Busia, the Sudanese director Ibrahim Shaddad, the Algerian director Sophia Djama, the Sudanese director Amjad Abu Al-Ala, and the Sudanese singer Asia. Madani and her band perform a song during the opening ceremony, with Egyptian singer Hassani Al-Qawsi participating in a duet for the first time. Once.

 

It is noteworthy that the Luxor African Film Festival is honorarily chaired by the artist Mahmoud Hamida, and its fourteenth session will be held during the period from January 9 to 14, and the festival is evaluated and organized by the Young Independent Artists Foundation.
