Weather analyst Aqeel Al-Aqeel from the National Center of Meteorology confirmed that the Kingdom will witness a severe cold wave with temperatures falling to record levels.
He pointed out that the minimum temperatures will range between 0 and -3 degrees Celsius in the northern regions, and between 1 and 4 degrees Celsius in the central and eastern regions, with the possibility of frost forming in Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the northern border, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, Al-Sharqiyah, and Medina. .

Snow and fog

Al-Aqeel expected that snowfall would include parts of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the northern borders, especially on the highlands. Several areas will also witness fog formation during the night and early morning hours, including Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the northern border, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, Al-Sharqiya, and the Asir Highlands, Jazan, Al-Baha, and Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
Al-Aqeel called on citizens and residents to be cautious and vigilant during these weather conditions, stressing the importance of adhering to preventive guidelines and ensuring safety.
