Learn about Al-Ahly’s standings after the defeat against Belouizdad in the Champions League
Al-Ahly club fell into the trap of defeat against its Algerian counterpart, CS Belouizdad, with an unanswered goal scored by the hosts in the final minutes of the match that brought the two teams together in the fourth round of the group stage of the African Champions League.

The goal of the Algerian team was the culmination of the performance shown by the Belouizdad youth players in the match, in terms of control and possession of the ball and offensive pressure most of the time of the match in light of Al-Ahly’s appearance with a defensive performance, which led to the collapse. The team ended the match due to a mistake by Mohamed El-Shenawy, goalkeeper of the Red Castle.
With that result, CS Belouizdad’s score rose to point 6 and occupied second place in the third group standings of the African Champions League, while Al-Ahly’s balance froze at point 7, continuing to be in first place.
