In the presence of the Olympic President, Al-Zohour honors the heads of the federations and their boards of directors who are club members

The Board of Directors of Al-Zohour Sports Club, headed by Counselor Mohamed Al-Demerdash, honored the newly elected heads of Egyptian federations and members of their boards of directors who are club members in a major celebration held at the club’s branch in the Fifth Settlement in the presence of Engineer Yasser Idris, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.

 

 

The elections for the general assemblies of sports federations ended for 59 Egyptian federations, including 29 Olympic federations and 30 A non-Olympic federation, for the 2024-2028 electoral cycle.

 

These elections witnessed a strong presence of members of the Al-Zohour Club in the various boards of directors, with: two seats in the position of president of the federation, namely Mohamed Mutee, president of the federation. Judo, and Hadia Hosni, President of the Badminton Federation; Two vice-presidential seats; And two seats in the position of treasurer; In addition to 19 members of the various boards of directors.

 

Counsel Muhammad Al-Demerdash thanked all attendees for their keenness to be present at the ceremony honoring Al-Zohour Club, led by the heads of the unions who were honored, namely Engineer Yasser Idris. President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, Captain Ismail Al-Shafi’i, President of the Tennis Federation, Mr. Mohamed Al-Dahrawi, President of the Karate Federation, Engineer Yasser Qamar, President of the Volleyball Federation, and Captain Amr Moselhy, President of the Basketball Federation, Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, President of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, Mr. Khaled Fathi, President of the Handball Federation, Major General Ashraf Helmy, President of the Table Tennis Federation, Mr. Mohamed Qaddah, President of the Hunting Federation, Captain Amna Al-Trabelsi, President of the Squash Federation, and Representative Hadia Hosni, President of the Badminton Federation and a member of the Board of Directors of the Badminton Club. Al-Demerdash expressed his happiness at the presence of this great group of heads of sports federations and members of the boards of directors within Al-Zohour Club to honor them, explaining that the presence of this number of Al-Zohour Club members within the various federations confirms the administrative excellence in the field of sports for the members of the club, which has become a strong sports institution over the past years.

 

For his part, Engineer Yasser Idris, Chairman of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, expressed his happiness at this celebration, which includes an elite group of heads and members of the boards of directors of the Egyptian federations, stressing that this electoral cycle witnessed strong competition and produced the best in a distinguished group of boards of directors. We will work together for a better future for Egyptian sports until the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. .
