Sharjah Police launches a remote vehicle renewal service

Today, the Sharjah Police General Command, in cooperation with the strategic partner “Rafid Vehicle Solutions Company”, launched an innovative initiative to renew and inspect vehicles “remotely” through its smart application as the first service of its kind in the UAE, with the aim of facilitating the procedures for technical inspection and vehicle renewal in a way that saves time and effort for customers. It enhances the quality of services provided.

The initiative targets private vehicles that carry Sharjah plates, provided that the vehicle is not more than 8 years old and that its last technical inspection has not been more than 18 months old. The customer can apply for the initiative through the Rafid smart application and follow the sequential procedures.

Colonel Khalid Muhammad Al-Ki, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, confirmed that this initiative comes within the framework of the emirate’s digital orientation, facilitating procedures and enhancing the quality of life by providing smart government services that meet the needs of individuals efficiently and quickly.

Ahmed Juma Al Musharrakh, CEO of Rafid Company, said that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to providing innovative technical solutions that keep pace with the new modernity, stressing that this service represents a qualitative leap in developing the vehicle sector and providing convenient and fast services to the community.


Rafid Vehicle Solutions Company is one of the companies affiliated with Sharjah Asset Management Company, the investment arm of the Sharjah Government, and through this initiative it seeks to achieve customer satisfaction and enhance their experience through advanced technical solutions.
