Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi inaugurates the Barakat Al Dar Waqf building

Sharjah, January 9 / WAM / Sheikh Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler, this Thursday morning, inaugurated the “Barakat Al Dar” endowment building in the Al Majaz 2 area in Sharjah, which was implemented as an endowment project in cooperation between the Endowments Department and the Social Services Department, at a cost It amounts to more than 37 million dirhams, the proceeds of which are spent on all belongings, services, needs and supplies of the elderly and children without social care through the Department of Social Services.

The head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler, accompanied by the attendees, toured a model of the residential units in the building, and learned about the various rooms and facilities each unit contains for the comfort of residents.

The building includes 15 recurring floors with residential units of different sizes and sizes, in addition to 5 floors designated as parking for residents’ cars, numbering 85 spaces, and a ground floor that includes a number of shops and building management offices to provide the best services.

The Endowments Department had launched the “Barakat Al-Dar” project, which falls under the umbrella of the Endowment for Parents, as part of its endowment projects, with the aim of urging and encouraging charitable people to revive the Sunnah of the endowment.

The inauguration was attended by Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Mail, Head of the Social Services Department, Abdullah bin Yarouf Al-Sabousi, Head of the Islamic Affairs Department, Talib Ibrahim Al-Marri, Director-General of the Endowments Department, Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director-General of the Real Estate Registration Department, and Muhammad Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting and Television Authority, and a number of senior officials.
