Amr Moselhi witnesses the final meeting to hone basketball referees
Mr. Amr Moselhy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Basketball Federation, witnessed today, Saturday, the closing meeting of the day of physical and technical refinement for the referees of Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and Lower Egypt, which was held by the main referees committee of the federation and supervised by Ahmed Al-Sharqawi, member of the Board of Directors of the Basketball Federation, and Mr. Hisham Al-Hariri, the general supervisor. There were 120 first-class referees and international referees present at the meeting, as the meeting was held in The Grand Lecture Hall in the Sports Federations Building at Cairo International Stadium.
Mr. Amr Moselhy confirmed that the Basketball Federation supports all members of the system, especially the referees who form the cornerstone of Egyptian basketball. And the Federation is keen to provide all support to the arbitration system.
Moselhi explained that referees from the American Basketball Association (NBA) and experts from the International Federation will be invited, During the coming period, in order to train Egyptian referees, increase their efficiency, and introduce them to the latest international technologies in the game.
Amr Moselhy concluded his statements by emphasizing the necessity of referees adhering to international law, in managing matches and adhering to Sports behavior by competing teams and their technical staff without any exception.
