After weather conditions stabilize, Pyramids leaves Angola on its way back to Cairo

The delegation of the first football team of the Pyramids Club left Angolan territory now, on its way back to Cairo, following an emergency landing in the team’s plane, at dawn today, Sunday, due to weather disturbances.

The mission is expected to arrive in Cairo, tomorrow morning, Monday, as the Oud journey will take more than 10 hours, with the mission making a transit stop at Nigeria.

 

Pyramids secured qualification for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League, for the first time in the club’s history, following the victory over host Sagrada, in Angola, scored by Marawan Hamdy.
