The handball team is undergoing strong preparations before facing Argentina
The first national handball team, led by coach Carlos Pastor, is training today in Croatia, in preparation for the start of the World Championship competitions scheduled to begin tomorrow, Tuesday, and continue until next February 2.
Our national team begins its group stage matches next Wednesday against the Argentine national team at seven in the evening Cairo time.
Egypt national team match dates
The national team is located in Group Eight, alongside the hosts, Croatia, Argentina, and Bahrain.
The national team will play 3 matches in the group stage, the dates of which are as follows:
Egypt × Argentina – January 15, 2025
Egypt × Bahrain – January 17, 2025
Egypt × Croatia – January 19, 202
The Board of Directors of the Handball Federation decided to assign Captain Khaled Fathi, President of the Federation, to head the national team delegation during its participation in the World Championship competitions, scheduled for the period from January 14 to February 2, jointly organized by Croatia, Denmark, and Norway.
Khaled Fathi is constantly keen to be present in the national team camp and hold meetings with the technical staff and players in order to provide the appropriate climate to achieve a historic achievement in the upcoming World Championship.
Spaniard Carlos Pastor, coach of the handball team, spoke about the Pharaohs’ participation in the upcoming World Championship competitions.
Pastor said: The Egyptian national team includes distinguished players in all positions, and that their participation in the World Championship is an event they wait for every two years in order to dazzle the world.
Pastor explained that the Egyptian national team enters the World Cup competitions in order to be in the semi-finals, and that all players, whether they are professionals or playing in the Egyptian League, have a determination to reach the furthest point in the World Cup.
