المملكة: Winds, dust, and rain…various winter weather in the Kingdom on Tuesday

The National Center of Meteorology, in its weather report today, Tuesday, for the regions of the Kingdom, expects the continued impact of active winds stirring dust and dirt on parts of the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina and Tabuk.
While the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of light rain in the regions of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, extending to parts of the highlands of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.
It is not excluded that fog will form in parts of these areas, as well as in parts of the regions of Al-Jawf, the northern and eastern borders, Riyadh, and Al-Qassim.

Red Sea

Surface winds: easterly to northeasterly, turning northerly to northwesterly in the evening at a speed of 16-38 km/h in the northern part.
Southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 18-40 km/h in the central and southern parts, reaching more than 45 km/h towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern part, and from one meter to two meters in the central and southern parts, reaching higher than two meters towards the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Sea condition: Light to medium waves reaching wavy towards Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Arabian Gulf

Surface winds: northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 20-40 km/h.

Wave height: from one to two metres.

Sea state: moderate waves.

In its weather report, the National Center of Meteorology expects dust to be raised in parts of the eastern region on Tuesday.
The phenomenon begins at 9 a.m. and continues until 3 p.m.
The alert includes Al-Ahsa, Al-Udayd and Abqaiq.
The accompanying phenomena are active winds and low horizontal visibility (3-5) kilometers.
