Sharjah Police will return more than 32 million dirhams to their owners in 2024

Through its “Reconciliation is Better” initiative, the Sharjah Police General Command recovered more than 32 million dirhams during the year 2024, as part of its efforts to resolve disputes and financial disputes between parties without the need for judicial intervention.

The initiative succeeded in resolving 874 complaints, which strengthened its pivotal role in achieving a cohesive environment based on dialogue and understanding.

During the year 2024, the “Reconciliation is Good” initiative contributed to the recovery of 32 million and 943 thousand and 920 dirhams, through amicable reconciliation between the conflicting parties, in a step that reflects the Sharjah Police’s keenness to achieve justice in innovative ways that establish the values ​​of cooperation and responsibility.

Brigadier General Yousef Obaid bin Harmoul, Deputy Director General of the General Administration of Comprehensive Police Stations, said that the “Reconciliation is Good” initiative is a pioneering model for resolving disputes amicably, away from the corridors of the courts, which contributes to protecting rights and strengthening ties between parties.

He stressed that the initiative contributes to strengthening the language of constructive dialogue and reaching fair solutions, which supports stability and enhances the spirit of cooperation and harmony among members of society.

He pointed out that the “Reconciliation is Good” initiative reflects the keenness of the Sharjah Police General Command to enhance its social role by launching innovative initiatives that contribute to strengthening family and social cohesion, supporting community stability and enhancing its security, in line with the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE government to build a cohesive, sustainable society.
