Dr. Hassan Hagras, Assistant Chairman of the Democratic Generation Party, confirmed that the ceasefire agreement in Gaza represents a historic victory for Egypt’s will to stop the suffering of the brothers and its leadership role in the region, praising the pivotal role that Cairo played under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in reaching this goal.  Hegras explained in His press statements today said that the ceasefire in Gaza came after strenuous diplomatic efforts that lasted for more than a year, during which Egypt worked to mediate between the various parties to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza, stressing its categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinians or liquidate their just cause.
