Endowments and the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs revive the legacy of Sheikh Al-Minshawi

In a pioneering step aimed at preserving the Islamic heritage and highlighting its eternal symbols, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments, led by Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, about commemorating the great reader Sheikh Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi. This announcement came through the official page of the Ministry, emphasizing the importance of celebrating the greats who enriched the Holy Qur’an with their voice and spirit.
In the context of these blessed efforts, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rahim Al-Bayoumi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, said that the project includes research and excavation of the lost heritage of Sheikh Al-Minshawi in coordination with his family, with the aim of recovering rare treasures of the Qur’an and audio recordings that bear the ancient imprint of the Sheikh.
Dr. Al-Bayoumi praised this initiative, noting that it represents a bridge linking the ancient past and the promising present, and that it will be carried out in cooperation with the competent authorities to ensure reaching appropriate results. With the Sheikh’s status and history.
