Implementing mechanisms for selling live livestock by weight next June

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture announced the start of implementing mechanisms for selling live livestock by weight starting next June, corresponding to Muharram 1, 1447 AH.
By implementing mechanisms for selling live livestock by weight, the Ministry aims to regulate the process of selling livestock in public interest markets and achieve fair value for producers and consumers.
The goals include: developing the livestock sector in Saudi Arabia, and contributing to supporting and enhancing food security.
