Dubai, January 21 / WAM / The Security Industry Regulatory Agency signed a memorandum of understanding with Intersec, the “Security and Safety Trade Exhibition and Conference”, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and joint work to qualify and upgrade security exhibitions in a way that contributes to raising awareness and achieving global professional standards.

The memorandum of understanding, signed by His Excellency Khalifa Ibrahim Al-Sulais, CEO of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency, and Ted Bloom, CEO of Intersec, aims to open new horizons for cooperation in several strategic areas, the most prominent of which is enhancing the global presence to keep pace with security developments and raising the level of international awareness, as well as participating in all local Intersec exhibitions. And internationally to exchange experiences, learn about the latest innovations and best security practices, exchange knowledge, as well as host specialized events to develop competencies and raise the level of security performance in line with international best practices.

His Excellency Khalifa Ibrahim Al-Sulais said that signing the memorandum of understanding with Intersec represents a strategic step towards strengthening the position of Dubai and the UAE as a global center for excellence and innovation in the security sector.
