Sharjah.. The Holy Quran Complex achieves distinguished achievements in 2025

Sharjah, 9 February / WAM / Today, the Holy Quran Complex in Sharjah organized the 2025 Harvest Ceremony, which was distinguished by the achievement of outstanding achievements that contributed to achieving the strategic objectives of the complex, which are to enhance leadership and innovation in serving the Holy Quran and develop the institutional work system.
The work team, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Taniji, President of the Holy Qur’an Academy, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary General of the Academy, and the directors of departments, reviewed their achievements for the year 2025 and their targeted plans for 2026, which reflect the continuation of the Academy’s approach, ambitions and future vision to keep pace with modern administrative and technical developments based on innovation, excellence, creativity and sustainable quality to consolidate Sharjah’s position in serving the Book of God.
His Excellency Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji stressed that adopting the innovation approach and applying the best international practices contributed to keeping pace with the rapid changes and meeting the work needs of the complex, in addition to the completion of major projects that serve graduate students and specialists in the science of Qur’anic readings, indicating that this was the result of the efforts of an integrated work team that contributed to achieving the scientific goals of the complex, spreading Qur’anic sciences in various parts of the world, and consolidating Sharjah’s leading position on the international scientific map.
He pointed out that the Holy Qur’an Academy has achieved a high position locally and internationally through its scientific and museum projects, benefiting from modern technologies in archiving, automating and organizing all operations within the Sharjah Electronic Reading Department, expressing his aspiration to launch new and distinguished scientific projects during the coming period. He added that the Academy was able, in a short period, to prepare the Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation, followed by the Encyclopedia of Methods of Reading.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani said that the Holy Qur’an Academy will continue its efforts during the year 2025 through qualitative achievements in various major sectors, as its scientific projects and its international reading have strengthened the empowerment of researchers, graduate students, and those interested in the science of recitations, in addition to graduating students specializing in Qur’anic recitations with connected Sindh. The complex granted 1935 Qur’anic licenses between individual and combined readings, which strengthened its presence locally and internationally, and became a destination for 172 countries around the world. The Academy also continues, through the “Citizen Reciter” program, to attract and qualify citizens who have memorized the Holy Qur’an, as the number of reciters in the Academy has reached 11, while the number of citizen students in the reciter has reached 47 male and female students.
Al Hosani explained that the complex recorded a prominent attendance by receiving more than 12,201 visits from official regional and international delegations, which included dignitaries and specialists in the sciences of the Holy Qur’an. Four complete Qur’anic seals were also recorded, and the complex launched the “Al-Ma’in Application” based on artificial intelligence techniques with the aim of supporting community members in reading, reciting and memorizing the Holy Qur’an in an interactive manner. The complex’s team strengthened scientific and research partnerships with a number of scientific institutions.
He confirmed the Academy’s participation during the year 2025 in eight various exhibitions, in addition to organizing many seminars and scientific lectures in cooperation with Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, the University of Sharjah, and Al Qasimia University, indicating that the Academy aspires in 2026 to achieve new qualitative achievements that consolidate its position as a distinguished global educational model in the service of the Book of God.
