The date of the Egyptian national team’s next match in the 2025 World Handball Championship
The Egyptian national handball team will play an important confrontation against its counterpart, the Slovenian national team, tomorrow, Friday, at exactly seven o’clock in the evening, Cairo time, as part of the second round of the main round of the World Handball Championship, which is hosted by Croatia, Denmark, and Norway, and will continue until next February 2.
The Egyptian national team had suffered a loss in the first round in the main round yesterday against the Icelandic national team with a score of “27-24”, after qualifying for this round, achieving a full score in the first group stage, where it was victorious in three consecutive matches.
The Egyptian team’s journey began with a great victory over Argentina with a score of “39-25”, then it beat Bahrain with a score of “35-24”, and concluded the group stage with a victory over Croatia with a score of “28-24”.
24 teams participate in the main round of the World Handball Championship, divided into 4 groups of 6 teams each, with the first and second in each group qualifying to the quarter-finals.
The Egyptian national team is located in the fourth group, which includes alongside it the teams: Iceland, Slovenia, Cape Verde, Croatia, and Argentina.
The Egyptian national team hopes to compensate for its loss to Iceland and return to the path of victories when it faces Slovenia, as part of its quest to secure a ticket to the quarter-finals.
