“The Road to Dubai” ignites the enthusiasm of the participants as the official weigh-in ends

The Professional Fighters League (PFL), in cooperation with the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai and the Dubai Sports Council, concluded the official weigh-in procedures for the fighters participating in the “Road to Dubai” tournament as part of the Champions Series, which will be held tomorrow, Saturday, at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic atmosphere as the fighters climbed onto the scales in front of the fans, in preparation for the fights that will begin on Saturday evening, where 22 fighters from 13 countries compete in 11 exciting fights, and the event is headlined by the main fight that brings together the Russian champion, Usman Nurmagomedov, with the Irish fighter, Paul Hughes, in an awaited confrontation. Within the lightweight category, amid great public anticipation.
As for the joint fight, it brings together Russian Vadim Nemkov with American Tim Johnson in the heavyweight category, where the fight is expected to witness strength and excitement between two of the most prominent fighters in the world arena. In featherweight, the Russian Ahmed Magomedov will meet with the Irishman Nathan Kelly, while the agreed-upon weight will witness a confrontation. Between the Dagestani Ibragim Ibragimov and the Irishman Kenny Mokhwana.
The tournament also witnesses distinguished confrontations in the bantamweight, middleweight, flyweight, and light weight categories, with the participation of an elite group of fighters from different nationalities. Among the most prominent of these fights is the confrontation of the Emirati Hadi Omar Al-Husseini with the Filipino Royel Banales, and the confrontation of the Saudi Mustafa Nada with the Briton Haider Khan in the middleweight division.
