Hakim Ziyech replaces Taarabt in Al-Nassr

Turkish media confirmed that the Moroccan player, Hakim Ziyech, is on his way to ending his 12-year career in European leagues, after he received an offer to play in the ADNOC Professional League.

The newspaper “Spor Turk” reported that Al-Nasr Club entered into negotiations with the Moroccan international to contract with him during the current transfer period.

She indicated that Hakim Ziyech obtained the approval of his current Turkish team, Galatasaray, to negotiate with the “general” in preparation for dispensing with his services, especially since he is outside the accounts of the Turkish club.

She stated: “What encourages the 31-year-old player to take this step is the presence of the Dutch coach, Alfred Schroeder, at the head of the technical staff of Al-Nasr Club, as he previously trained the Moroccan player in the teams Twente Enschede and Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch League.”

The newspaper pointed out that Hakim Ziyech will not find it difficult to leave Galatasaray, indicating that the most likely thing to do is to terminate his contract with the Turkish club by mutual consent, so that the door will be open for his transfer to his new club.

On the other hand, Al-Nasr Club is seeking to sign a new foreign player, after announcing the termination of the contract of the Moroccan player, Adel Taarabt, by mutual consent.

Hakim Ziyech is considered one of the most prominent Arab players in the past 10 years in European leagues, as his name emerged alongside the stars Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez, when the Moroccan international joined Chelsea of ​​England, while the Egyptian top scorer played with Liverpool, and the Algerian star played with Manchester City.

Ziyech plays in the right wing position, and is distinguished by being a multi-positional player who can play in the attacking midfield position. He is also famous for his skill in dribbling and speed. He is also known for his tactical ability and excellence in free kicks. He is nicknamed “The Magician,” which is the nickname given to him by the supporters of his former club Ajax. .

Ziyech began his professional career with Dutch club Heerenveen in 2012, and signed with Dutch club Twente Enschede two years later. In 2016, Ziyech signed with Ajax on a five-year deal, with a transfer fee of 11 million euros.

The 2018-2019 season was the most prolific in Ziyech’s career, as he scored 16 goals and provided 13 assists in the Dutch League. Ziyech signed with Chelsea in the English Premier League in the 2020-2021 season on a five-year deal, with a transfer fee of 40 million euros.

Hakim Ziyech was born in the Netherlands, and was eligible to play for the Netherlands or Morocco national teams, but in 2015, he confirmed his choice to represent Morocco at the international level. He represented the “Atlas Lions” in the 2018 World Cup, the 2019 African Cup of Nations, and the 2022 World Cup, where he was part of the legendary generation that achieved the best historical achievement in the history of Arab and African teams, with Morocco obtaining fourth place.
