85 players representing the UAE in “Asian Jojitsu” for youth and juniors

The Emirates Jujitsu Federation announced the participation of the national team in the Asian Junior Cup for Jojitsu for the under -14 category, and the Asian Youth Championship for Jujitsu for the under -16 and 18 categories, which will be held in the Thai capital, Bangkok, from February 13 to 15.

The list of the team included 20 players to participate in the Asian Junior Cup, and 65 players and players to participate in the Asian Youth Jogitsu Youth Championship.

The capital, Abu Dhabi, hosted the Asian Youth Championship in its previous version in 2024, where the national team starred in 41 medals, with 11 gold, 8 silver and 22 bronze, and the national team in the next version is looking to build on this remarkable success and compete strongly for the title, to establish its position as one of the strongest teams Jojitsu on the Asian continent.

The Secretary -General of the Emirates Jujitsu Federation, Fahd Ali, said, according to a press release, that the Asian Championship is of great importance, as it represents a main station on the season’s agenda, and an opportunity to confirm the country’s leadership at the continental level, indicating that the tournament is also an indication of measuring the development of Sunni groups and its ability to achieve Achievements in the world championships.

He added: “The Federation’s strategy focuses heavily on the youth and youth championships, given its importance in building a strong base for the future of jujitsu in the country, stressing the commitment to provide the best development opportunities for our sons and daughters, through high -specific training programs, and benefit from the most important international experiences.”
