Sharjah Fish Resources concludes its annual activities

Sharjah, January 30 / WAM / The Sharjah Fish Resources Authority concluded its annual activities for the year 2024 with a closing ceremony held in the Holy Quran Complex in Sharjah.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazia, Chairman of the Authority, His Excellency Salem Al -Mahrazi, Director of the Authority, and the presence of His Excellency Dr. Heba Obaid Al -Shehhi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Biological Diversity and Agency Agency, and His Excellency Eng. Hilal Al -Naqbi, Director of Khorfakkan University, partners and media from government and private agencies.

The ceremony included a review of the most prominent achievements made by the authority during the past year, which included initiatives to preserve marine resources and enhance awareness of the importance of fish wealth as an integral part of sustainable development and the adoption of the fish farming project by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

In his speech, His Excellency Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazayen expressed his appreciation for all the efforts made by the concerned authorities and fishermen to achieve the sustainability of fish wealth, stressing that the authority is committed to continuing its role in protecting the marine environment and ensuring the continuity of giving from the seas for future generations, directed everyone to cooperate for a sustainable future of fish wealth in The emirate.

The ceremony included a number of distinguished events, including a visual presentation that summarizes the authority’s projects and honoring distinguished partners who contributed to strengthening the activities and role of the Sharjah Fish Resources.
