27 teams qualify for the community challenge finals in “Dubai Games”

The organizing committee of “Dubai Games” announced the most prominent collective sporting event in the Emirate of Dubai, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, and in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council On the qualification of 27 teams to participate in the “Community Challenge” finals, within the sixth edition of “Dubai Games”, after the rehabilitation tour that was held yesterday, in “Damac Hills”.

The tour witnessed an intense competition, in which more than 290 players representing 58 teams from different segments of society participated, which reflects the great demand for the championship, and highlights the spirit of challenge and teamwork.

The qualified 27 teams, in addition to the “Nass” team champion, will participate in the last version of the event, in the “Dubai 2025 Games” competitions that will be held in “Dubai Festival City” during the period from 20 to 23 February 2025.

For his part, the director of “Dubai Games”, Marwan bin Issa, stressed that the championship in its new look represents an expected agenda to display collective talents, and to enhance the concept of sports excellence, indicating that the success achieved by this event is a reflection of Dubai’s status as a favorite destination for life, work and sports, and a forum for major International and sports events.

He said: «The wide participation of the community teams in the qualifying round of this year’s version reflects the importance of sport as a means of competition, and enhancing the values ​​of social interconnection that distinguishes Dubai Dubai community, and (Dubai Games) has become a global sports platform that embraces different cultures and ages, which confirms the commitment of the Dubai community By adopting a healthy lifestyle in light of the presence of a motivational environment that enhances the spirit of challenge while working with the spirit of one team.

It is expected that the Dubai Games Championship will witness competition between 246 teams within various groups, including: 84 teams in the government challenge (men), 28 teams in the government challenge (women), 28 teams in the community challenge category, and 50 teams within the category of cities challenge In addition to 56 teams in the Young Challenge category, which reflects Dubai’s position as a model sporting destination for everyone.
