80 countries participate in the tenth international scout meeting in Sharjah
Sharjah, February 6/ WAM/ The Emirate of Sharjah began receiving the delegations participating in the tenth international scout meeting, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, from February 8 to 17 this year with the participation of 300 scouts from 80 countries Under the slogan “Scout and Sustainable Development”.
This event comes within the framework of the Sharjah Emirate’s vision to support and empower young people to be active partners in achieving sustainable development.
The tenth international scout meeting is a global platform for enhancing cooperation between scouts from different cultures, as well as highlighting the great role played by the scout movement in achieving sustainable development goals, and promoting cultural and knowledge exchange among young people from all over the world.
