Mohammed bin Zayed confirms the UAE’s fixed approach to supporting everything that achieves the stability of Iraq

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, President of the brotherly Republic of Iraq, discussed today the brotherly relations and the possibilities of developing cooperation and joint work between the UAE and Iraq in all fields in order to achieve their mutual interests and enhance the development and prosperity of their people.

This came during the reception of His Highness at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, who is on an official visit to the UAE, where His Highness welcomed the Iraqi President in his second country the Emirates.

His Highness the President of the State and the Iraqi President reviewed aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries, especially economic, investment, development, renewable energy, and other areas and opportunities available to develop them to wider levels.

The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues and issues of common concern and exchanged views on them, especially the developments taking place in the Middle East, stressing in this context the need to find a clear path for comprehensive and permanent peace that is based on a “two -state solution” and pay the diplomatic endeavors that contribute In achieving the aspirations of the peoples of the region to security, stability and development.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed during the meeting the strength of the Emirati -Iraqi brotherly relations and the UAE’s steadfast approach to supporting everything that achieves the stability of Iraq and meets the aspirations of its people to development and prosperity.

His Highness expressed the aspiration of the two countries to find new opportunities for constructive cooperation, especially in the developmental fields .. His Highness affirming the UAE’s keenness to brotherly cooperation and joint coordination with Iraq for the interests of the two countries, stability and regional security, in light of the developments taking place in the region.

For his part, the Iraqi President expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the warm reception … informing the positions of the UAE and its initiatives supporting the Iraqi people in various stages, wishing the state to develop and prosper.

He affirmed Iraq’s keenness to continue to advance cooperation and joint work relations with the UAE in a way that serves their mutual interests and is good for their people and all the peoples of the region.
