The meeting also witnessed the discussion of developments in Syria, where Minister Abdel Ati stressed Egypt’s support for the Syrian people, the need to respect the unity and safety of Syrian lands, and the importance of starting a political process without excluding any components of the Syrian society. & nbsp;
A discussion took place during the meeting on developments in the Sahel, the African century and Somalia, where the Foreign Minister stressed the importance of supporting security and stability and the efforts to combat terrorism in the Sahel region, as well as the need to respect the sovereignty, unity and safety of Somali lands. & nbsp;
Minister Abdel -Ati reviewed the Egyptian position on the issue of water security, as he stressed the fixed position on the necessity of reaching a legal and obligated agreement to operate the dam and without the consequences on the rights of the estuary state and achieve the common interests of all parties.
