The Film Authority organizes a virtual workshop in the production department management, targeting production managers who wish to develop their skills and enhance their experiences in this field.
The workshop will be held over 4 days in two periods from 19 to 20 February and from 26 to 27 February with the participation of 20 trainees and presented in English.

The workshop is presented by Gareth Ellis-Anwin, CEO of Bedlam Film Production Company in London.
“Annin” is one of the prominent names in the field of cinematic production, who won the Academy Award and the BAFTA Award.
It is provided to the participants with a specialized training that focuses on developing the basic skills needed by the production manager.

Cinematic production skills

These axes include identifying the basic skills of the director of production and familiarity with responsibilities, which are linked to the management of persons and the supervision of projects.
This is in addition to developing the ability to deal with increased work pressure and efficiently managing tasks.

The workshop aims to provide the participants with the knowledge and expertise necessary for the position of professional production manager, and to qualify them to gain the skills that enable them to perform their role efficiently and distinguished.

It also gives them the opportunity to understand the steps they need to move to higher job roles, and to develop their career in the field of cinematic production.

Admission criteria for the workshop are determined based on the previous experience in the field of production.
It is required that the applicant had previously worked as a producer or production manager or participated in the production of short films, to ensure the maximum benefit from the training content.
