“Dubai Roads” launches the fourth generation of heritage lessons

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai launched the fourth generation of heritage abras, in a move aimed at improving and developing the maritime transport system in the emirate in line with the authority’s directions aimed at providing distinguished services to the pioneers of this type of daily movement, in addition to enhancing integration with the public transportation network The other affiliated with the authority, and enhancing the marine tourism transport movement, in line with the city’s position, which receives large numbers of visitors and tourists coming to it from all over the world.
Ahmed Bahwouzian, Executive Director of the Public Transportation Corporation at the Roads and Transport Authority, said that this step comes within the framework of the authority’s endeavor to improve its services and achieve comfort for maritime transport users, and in line with its strategic goals, indicating that the authority has redesigned the papers to raise the capacity of passengers to (24) A passenger against (20) passengers in the previous generation, which conforms to the requirements of the Dubai Design Code for the safety and health of individuals, where the design of the new papers was taken into account the development of interior design, as a series of improvements were introduced, including the development of chairs, floors, and the redistribution of places designated for passengers from the owners of determination.
Bhosian added: The new abrases were designed according to the highest quality standards, and improvements were made on the technical side of these abras such as expanding the provision of technical systems for mass transport in the abras with the addition of immediate data screens and safety information, as well as destinations for the first time, which led to the achievement of the goals of the body in Increasing the number of maritime transport passengers, which contributes to strengthening the mass transportation network in the emirate. In designing the fourth generation of heritage abras, the authority took into account the highest standards of security, safety and the environment in providing this type of group maritime transport, and the authority also obtained certificates of safety regulations that conform to the Gulf standards followed in this field.
