New laptop devices for ninth grade students

The Ministry of Education, represented in the digital business administration, has announced the start of the process of delivering the new mobile devices to ninth grade students only, in cooperation with the company “Etisalat”, in a move to enhance the digital educational environment, and provide the latest technical means to support the learning process.

Governmental schools directed the implementation of the process of distributing the new devices and receiving the old according to various time schedules, stressing the need for parents to adhere to personally to sign the document of the agreement on receiving the devices.

The Ministry stipulated the personal attendance of the guardian to sign the document of the agreement, and to provide an original copy of the identity of the guardian and the student, as well as bring the old mobile device to deliver it and replace it with the new, and in the event that the old device is not brought for reasons such as loss or delivery to the previous school or the IT center, it is necessary to submit A document to prove this, or an official report if the device is stolen.

The Ministry stressed that this initiative comes within its continuous efforts to enhance the digital transformation in the educational sector, and to provide students with the latest technologies that contribute to developing their academic capabilities and achieving excellence in an advanced educational environment.

For its part, government schools addressed the parents of students, as it identified controls and mechanisms for replacing mobile devices for the ninth grade students, which will be held until February 27.

School departments demanded from parents to ensure that old devices are sent with their children, as the devices will be received during the school working hours, and upon delivery each student will obtain an official “delivery paper” that is a necessary document that the guardian must highlight when receiving the new device, stressing that it is No new device will be delivered without the presentation of this document signed.

This step comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Education in providing students with the latest educational means, which contributes to enhancing their academic experience and achieving the best academic results.
