Saudi coach is proud of his players, despite the loss of the final of Asia

Marcus Suarez, the Saudi youth football team coach, expressed his pride in his players despite the loss of his team, the final of the Asian Nations Championship under 20 years.
In the final match of the continental competition, Australia defeated its Saudi counterpart 5/5 on penalties, after the two teams tied 1/1 in the original and additional time, yesterday, Saturday.
With this, the Australian team succeeded in achieving its first title in the history of the championship, after it achieved the description in 2010, while Saudi Arabia won the title three times before the years 1986, 1992 and 2018.
Suarez said after the match: “I am proud of my team, as we did a great job, and we succeeded in fighting the Australian national team, but the result was finally settled by a difference of penalty shootout … The two teams were close, and we could win, but in the end it was not luck to our side.”
The Saudi national team coach said in his remarks, which was conveyed by the official ICRTA website of the Asian Football Confederation, today, Sunday: “The Australia team has distinguished players, including six playing in Europe, and therefore they could control the course of the course in some stages of the match.”
He added, “In the end, we cannot complain about anything, and I am proud of the players of my team, and now we are looking forward to prepare for the World Cup.”
And he added: “We did a great job in this tournament, and therefore there is nothing to regret here, as we started building this team a year and a half ago, and I am proud of what we did so far.”
The Saudi national team coach concluded his statements by saying: “Now the players must get some rest, then we will return to work in June to prepare for the World Cup, and we will try our best to achieve something there.”
It is noteworthy that the Saudi national team qualified with Australia, as well as the South Korean and Japan teams for the World Youth World Cup finals, to be held in Chile later this year.
