One billion dollars in Club World Cup Awards .. 5 Arab clubs win huge sums

FIFA announced today, Wednesday, a billion dollars in financial awards for the 2025 Club World Cup teams, in addition to launching two new women’s tournaments.

The expanded version of the Club World Cup will be held in 12 stadiums in the United States with the participation of 32 teams from June 14 to July 13, 2025, and it is a preparation for the 2026 World Cup for the teams hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Five Arab teams participate in the championship, the Egyptian Al -Ahly, the Tunisian Esperance, the Saudi Crescent, the Moroccan Wadad and the Emirati eye.

“FIFA” stated in his statement that he approved “a modified budget of $ 2 billion that comes from the 2025 Club World Cup revenues … which will set a new international football standard for clubs, with the distribution of one billion dollars to the clubs participating in the tournament and the provision of a solidarity mechanism concerned with clubs all over the world.”

He continued: “All revenues resulting from the tournament will be distributed to the participating clubs and through the solidarity of clubs around the world, as FIFA will not keep one dollar.”

FIFA also announced the launch of the process of offering performances to host the Women’s World Cup for the 2031 and 2035 versions.

The FIFA Council approved the bid regulations and provided an overview of the hosting requirements for the 2031 and 2035 versions, taking into account the countries that previously hosted the championship. Brazil will host the next version in 2027.

“As for the 2031 Women’s World Cup, FIFA federations belonging to the African Union of the game (CAF) and the North, Central American Union and Caribbean (CONCACAF) will be called to present their offers for the 2031 version.
