Ajman Governmental Course targets 10,000 participants this year

The Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Ajman Governmental Course, Ahmed Al -Raisi, stressed the great role that the course plays in promoting community sport in the Emirate of Ajman, stressing the organizing committee sought to increase the number of participants in the current version to reach 10,000 participants after last year’s participation reached six thousand people.

Al -Raisi praised the level of mass attendance in football, beach volleyball matches, popular games, the presence of families and their great interaction with the various activities of the course.

He said in press statements: “We are lucky in the emirate of Ajman with the support and directives of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, to develop the sporting session and enhance the presence of Ajman in the agenda of sports competitions and societal events and establish their position as an important center for hosting championships and events, by increasing the number of activities of the sporting session and attracting more beneficiaries and participants from All groups of society. ”

Al -Raisi added: “We were keen in the fifth edition to increase the number of events to become 12 events, with the addition of new events such as the Cross Fit Championship and the junior category in addition to the effectiveness of the heritage village to satisfy all tastes and meet the different desires of members of society, and we aim to increase the number of beneficiaries in this version from 6 thousand beneficiaries to 10 thousand, as we work to increase the number of participants in the bicycle and running traces that start on my day 10 and 11 Ramadan to give more space to compete between different groups and nationalities in a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere.

On the other hand, the football championship competitions continued within the sports tournament of the Ajman government in its fifth edition, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, and organizing the Human Resources Department of the Ajman government in cooperation with the Coatro Sports Center.
