The Emirates team’s bicycle is ranked second in the Terino Edotomico race

Roma, March 11/ WAM/ Juan Ayou of the Emirates XRG Bicycle team presented a strong start on the first day of the Tereno-Adriatico race, where he finished second in the first stage behind the most prominent candidate for the title, Philipo Ghana from the “Inos-Grenaders” team.
The Italian race started with a time race, which spanned a distance of 11.5 km in the town of LEDO de Kamayyuri on the western coast of Italy, and the Emirates team’s bike sought to defend its title that he achieved at this stage last year.

Ayu, who carries two wins this season, achieved a time of 12 minutes and 14 seconds, recording an average speed of 54.4 km per hour on the flat track.
Thanks to this result, Iusu advanced to the second place in the general classification, and the white shirt will wear as the best young bike during the second stage, which extends for a distance of 192 km from Kameyuri to Volonika. It was followed by Johan Price-Piesen of the “Lidel-Trick” team to complete the trio who went up to the coronation platform.
Ayu said that he performed well, especially with a focus on the general classification, pointing out that he lost a little speed in the last part when returning after the turn, adding that in the coming days, he will try to stay at the forefront and gain time, stressing their keenness to focus on the major mountainous stages that await them this week.
