The Ministry of Education confirmed that registration will not be reopened for students in government schools for the academic year 2025-2026, considering that March 14th is the deadline for registration and no room for extension or opening the door for registration again.

She said that submitting registration requests after the closure of the admission door will be subject to a number of factors, the most prominent of which is the lack of guarantee of a seat of study in the geographical scope of the student’s housing, where registration will be based on the available places only, and the guardian also bears the responsibility of providing transportation for his children in the event that they are accepted in schools outside the scope of their residence, as well as parents bear the cost of school books for the registered student after the end of the specified period.

The Ministry called on parents to adhere to the specified period to ensure that their children get seats in schools near their places of residence, indicating that they are keen to organize the registration process according to a deliberate plan that ensures the stability of the educational process, stressing the importance of adhering to the announced dates.

Extension of the registration period

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Education has opened the door for registration in government schools for the academic year 2025-2026 for citizens and the like during the period from February 10 to March 7, 2025, and in response to the increasing demand from parents, the Ministry decided to extend the registration period until Friday, March 14, with the aim of providing the opportunity for the largest possible number of students to join government educational institutions in various emirates of the state.
