A new guest defeats the title holder of “Nad Al Shaba” plane

Great surprises witnessed by the start of the volleyball championship held within the activities of the 12th edition of the “Nad Al -Sheba Sports Course”, the largest sporting event of its kind, which was launched and sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and it is held annually during the holy month of Ramadan in the Nad Al -Sheba Sports Complex, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council “Border capabilities.”

The new guest at the tournament, “Al -Tadawi 1”, managed to overcome the “title holder” with a score of (3-1).

Although Zabeel won the result of the first half, 27-25, the “Al-Tadawi 1” team managed to win three consecutive runs and results (25-20, 25-23, 25-21).

In the second match, the Dean team managed to beat the HFH team (3-2), as the HFH team opened the match by winning 25-22, and the Dean’s team managed to equalize the result by winning the second half with a score of 25-21, and in the third half, “HFH” regained its balance and managed to win 25-22, and the Dean’s team returned to a tie after winning in the fourth half with a score of 25 – 20 – 20 The two teams are fighting a decisive way, in which the dean won 15-10.

For his part, the Secretary -General of the Volleyball Federation, Abdulaziz Al -Salman, expressed his happiness with the participation of volleyball for the 12th year in a row in the Nad Al -Sheba Sports Course competitions, whose name has been associated with volleyball sport since its first edition.

Al -Salman said in press statements: “We are proud of the Emirates Volleyball Federation to be present in all copies of the championship, which has witnessed throughout the past years many developments, at the level of performance and organization.”

He added: «We expect the tournament this year to be very special due to the participation of many prominent players in the world, and I invite volleyball fans to attend and enjoy watching this elite of the athletes participating in the tournament, and I also invite all local players to attend and benefit from the presence of these players and watch them closely.

Strong competitions in “Moving Basket”

The basketball championship on the wheelchairs witnessed strong competitions between the teams participating in its fourth day, as the Dubai Municipality team beat the Community Development Authority team (20-18), continuing its lead in the second group with the full score with six points.

The Dubai Ambulance Corporation team also continued to compete with the Dubai Municipality team for the lead after its victory over the team of determination (24-13), also raising its score to six points, while the Dubai Courts team managed to easily beat the Finance Department team (27-16).

Nadia and excitement in cord tightening competitions

The competitions of the cord tightening championship, which witnessed a strong Nadia, and a strong excitement between the participating teams, and a great public turnout that followed the championship enthusiastically, where the National Guard team defeated the Dubai Police team in the category of departments and government institutions with a score of (2 -zero), and the Ministry of Defense team defeated Dubai’s Security Service team (2 -zero), and the Civil Defense team won the Ras Al Khaimah team against the civil defense team in Dubai with a result (2 – yellow), and the ground forces team defeated the Ministry of Education team with a score of (2-0).
