The choice of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Fattah Saleh as a member of the Consultative Experts Group for the African Peace and Security Council on artificial intelligence
Counselor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Fattah Saleh, Director of Navigation and Innovation Affairs and International Digital Issues, chose a member of the new consultative experts group established by the African Union’s Peace and Security Council on Artificial Intelligence and its impact on peace, security and governance across the continent. Africa for a period of four years, to work to provide political research and recommendations that support the African Union in order to integrate artificial intelligence into operations related to the promotion of sustainable peace, stability and development in Africa. In order to study the effects of artificial intelligence on peace, security, democracy and development in Africa, and directing the African Union Commission in the use of artificial intelligence to face the challenges emerging throughout the continent, in addition to developing strategies to integrate artificial intelligence into governance operations, building peace, mediation, early discovery of conflicts, and reconstruction in the post Conflict.
