المملكة: Launching a new program for qualifying national competencies in cloud computing

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in partnership with Amazon Web Service (AWS), launched the “AWS Builder Accessator” program.
It aims to develop national competencies in the field of cloud computing, and provide them with advanced skills in AWS technologies, through an intensive training program held at the AWS headquarters in Virginia in the United States of America.

The program provides an integrated educational experience for a period of four weeks that combine theoretical learning with practical application under the supervision of an elite of AWS experts, in addition to implementing applied projects using the latest cloud computing technologies.
It aims to enable the participants to gain practical experiences and qualify them to obtain certified certificates; This contributes to meeting the needs of the market and enhancing the readiness of national competencies to keep pace with technical variables.

The program also aims to qualify graduates of technical specializations from workers in the fields of computer science, engineering and information technology who have experience between two to three years to enhance their competitiveness in the field of cloud computing.

Strategy

This launch is a strategic step to achieve the Ministry’s goals in enhancing national competencies specialized in cloud computing, and supporting the Kingdom’s efforts in enabling digital national talents by investing in continuous learning.
This is in addition to enhancing partnerships with international companies to exchange experiences and transfer knowledge, and build skills through training programs that support technical innovative movement and contribute to building a prosperous digital future.

In previous statements, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology M. Abdullah bin Amer Al -Sawah, that the qualitative leaps achieved by the Kingdom in the fields of digital economy and innovation would not have been without the support and empowerment that the telecommunications and information technology sector has by the wise leadership -may God support it -.
Al -Sawahah pointed out that the digital economy in the region grew by 73%, and the Kingdom acquires 50% of the digital economy in the region, which reflects its pioneering role in this field.
