During a phone call with the Head of State, the Ukrainian President condemns the Iranian attacks against the UAE

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed today, during a phone call he received from the President of the Republic of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, the military escalation taking place in the region and its dangerous repercussions on regional security and stability.

During the call, Zelensky expressed Ukraine’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and a number of sister countries in the region, stressing that they represent a violation of the sovereignty of states, international law and the United Nations Charter, while His Highness the President thanked His Excellency for Ukraine’s solidarity with the UAE.

The two sides stressed the need to stop the military escalation in the region and avoid expanding the conflict there, as this would have serious repercussions on regional and global security and stability.
