The UAE air defenses handle 12 ballistic missiles and 123 drones

The Ministry of Defense announced that the UAE air defenses intercepted 11 ballistic missiles and 123 drones today, while one missile fell inside the country’s territory without recording any human casualties.

The Ministry explained in a blog post on the “X” platform that since the beginning of the blatant Iranian attack, 186 ballistic missiles were detected that were launched towards the state, with 172 missiles destroyed, while 13 of them fell into the sea water, and 1 missile fell on the state’s territory. Also, 812 Iranian marches were monitored and 755 marches were intercepted, while 57 of them occurred inside the state’s territory, and 8 mobile missiles were also detected and destroyed, and they caused some damage. It also resulted in 3 deaths of Pakistani, Nepalese and Bangladeshi nationalities and 68 minor cases of infection among Emirati, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese and Afghan nationals.

The Ministry confirms that the sounds heard in various areas of the country are the result of the interception by both air defense systems of ballistic missiles, and fighter jets of drones and mobile aircraft, which led to minor and moderate material damage to a number of civilian objects.

The Ministry condemned in the strongest terms this military targeting, considering it a blatant aggression and a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and international law, and that the state reserves its full right to respond to this escalation and take all necessary measures to protect its lands, people and residents, in a way that guarantees the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.

The Ministry of Defense confirmed that it is fully prepared and prepared to deal with any threats, and that it is taking all necessary measures to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the security and stability of the state, and added that the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors represents a top priority that cannot be neglected.
