"Emirates Development" The first artificial intelligence laboratory is launched for people with determination

Dubai, March 25 / WAM / The Emirates Development Bank announced, in the framework of its Ramadan campaign, “Our Emirates is thoroughly thoroughly”, the launch of the first laboratory of its kind for artificial intelligence dedicated to the owners of determination, at the Emirates Association for Down Syndrome in Dubai.

This initiative comes in a qualitative step, aimed at supporting the development of the health care and technology sectors in the country, reflecting the bank’s commitment to supporting the vital priority sectors, enhancing the process of economic development, and contributing to building a more comprehensive and sustainable future for the UAE.

The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi, CEO of the Emirates Development Bank, His Excellency Marwan bin Ghalita, Director General of the Dubai Lands and Properties Department and the Acting Director General of Dubai Municipality, along with a number of dignitaries and representatives of government agencies, and employees of the Emirates Development Bank and the Emirates Society for Down Syndrome, in a presence that reflects the importance of this pioneering initiative and its role in empowering and promoting people Societal innovation.

The artificial intelligence laboratory aims to provide people with concerns with Down syndrome with the tools and opportunities necessary for success in the world of today, which is characterized by the accelerated technological development.

By focusing on the principle of totalitarianism, the laboratory provides an innovative educational environment that allows access to practical solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence and robots, enabling the participants to explore their underlying capabilities, enhance their self -confidence, and active contribution to the fields of innovation and technology.

Al -Naqbi said that the initiative embodies the commitment of the Emirates Development Bank to support and empower the strategic priority sectors, in a way that contributes to advancing national development and improving the quality of the life of individuals, by providing innovative solutions based on the latest technologies, indicating that the combination of technological innovation and the humanitarian message of the bank, based on sympathy and enabling various societal groups, confirms the bank’s keenness to develop the health care and technology sectors, in a way that reflects Positive to society and serves its sustainable future.

Dr. Manal Jaarour, Chairman of the Emirates Society for Down Syndrome, said that the laboratory represents an important achievement that reflects our continuous efforts to empower children with Down syndrome, and to provide new and distinctive opportunities in the areas of innovation and technology, expressing their confidence in their capabilities to convert this laboratory into a center of excellence, where innovation, creativity and exploration is a lifestyle, which enhances their confidence in themselves and can convert their ideas into Realistic projects with a tangible impact.

She emphasized that this integrated laboratory of artificial intelligence will contribute with the support of the Emirates Development Bank to enable children to explore, innovate and prosper, noting that the laboratory launch comes within the framework of the pivotal role played by the Emirates Development Bank in supporting the health care and advanced technology sectors, as they are one of the basic pillars to build a sustainable and flexible Emirati economy.

This pioneering initiative is also consistent with the target of the “Society for 2025” in the UAE, and reflects the firm commitment of the bank to enhance social responsibility by building strategic partnerships that contribute to the service of society and its reluctance.
