March matches from the International World Cup qualifiers revealed that seven teams qualified for the 2026 World Cup in America, Canada and Mexico.

Argentina advances the teams that are qualified early after a 4-1 victory over Brazil in the South American qualifiers, at a time when Iran and Japan qualified before the end of the Asian qualifiers with two rounds, and New Zealand, which booked its seat, joined the Qualification of Oceania, waiting for the rest of the qualifying teams until the qualifiers ended.

The four qualifiers in the hospitality owners join America, Canada and Mexico, bringing the number of qualified teams to seven.

The 2026 World Cup will be held 48 teams for the first time in the history of the tournament, instead of the previous regime, which was limited to 32 teams, according to the FIFA decision.
