A Spanish court invalidates the conviction of Danny Alves for rape

The Barcelona Court of Appeal invalidated the former Barcelona football star Danny Alves’s prison for four and a half years in prison for raping a young woman in 2022 in a nightclub, according to Friday.

In a press release, the court justified its decision that the former Brazilian international condemnation of the ruling in February 2024, “was characterized by a series of deficiencies, inaccuracy and contradictions regarding facts, legal evaluation and its consequences.”
